Stephanie has extensive experience in media, charitable organisations, education & occupational health. She gained her professional counselling qualification in 2000. Since then, alongside her own successful private practice, she has worked in Primary Care and for Relate whilst studying for her MA in Relationship Therapy. Steph charges £45 - £50 per session.

Karen is a counsellor, registered with the National Counselling Society, who works with adults and children. She also offers Emotional Access Processing, which uses guided meditation, being an accredited Journey practitioner for this work. The links give more information, including quotes from those who have experienced this type of work with her. These sessions are longer than traditional counselling but typically require fewer sessions.

Jenny is an Alexander Technique working with individuals and groups. She is also a qualified special needs teacher and has a particular interest in helping children and adults with additional needs, such as autism, benefit from the Alexander technique. She charges £45 per lesson.

The Alexander technique:

  • promotes a sense of well-being and can reduce stress and anxiety

  • is recommended for the management of the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease

  • is used by musicians and actors, business people and athletes to prevent injury, improve performance or presentation skills

  • helps people of all ages move, sit and breathe with more ease and enjoyment

  • 1:1 lessons in the Alexander technique have been clinically shown to reduce chronic back and knee pain

Anne Hulme

Anne talks to High Peak Radio about Reiki

Anne is an experienced qualified Reiki Master who has been in practice for many years and has seen the benefit of Reiki with many people. She says " Reiki is a very relaxing, non invasive complementary therapy, best experienced than described!"  She teaches and attunes students to First Degree Reiki, Second Degree Reiki and Masters.

She is a Master of Crystology.  Crystal potency has been recognised for years and crystals have the ability to heal, protect, manifest and transform energy.  A Crystal treatment is both relaxing and balancing.

Anne also offers Indian Head Massage, again, a very relaxing and de-stressing treatment.

The aim and intent of her whole Practice is to help people attain a level of balance and relaxation to take into their every day lives.

Anne's fees are:
Reiki Treatment (one hour) £25
Crystal Treatment £20
Indian Head massage £25

Kathryn is a nutritional therapist.

Free drop-in clinic every last Wednesday of the month 9.00am - 12.00pm

Nutritional consultations include written personalised plans and supporting literature. There may be additional costs for optional tests and/or supplements, if these are advised. Testing and/or supplements are not obligatory, but may be helpful in certain circumstances. Her philosophy is to focus on dietary changes first and foremost.
A single initial consultation costs £75 with a review costing £60. A block payment for three consultations to take place over a period of 3-6 months is £180

In addition, Liz offers a Family Bereavement service which includes one to one work with adults, families, children and young people along with a Group Programme, to support children and families who are either facing a serious illness in their lives, or who have been bereaved.
